We came out with our own wheel because we got the opportunity to participate in the development of a new rim, a rim that is of outstanding quality, is tuned to our performance specs, and is made of a recyclable material that doesn't add to landfills keeping us in line with our commitment to the environment and being a certified B - corp. The MTN30 trail/all-mountain wheel tracks better in hard corners and is more stable at high-speeds due to the dynamic compliance provided by FusionFiberTM a groundbreaking thermoplastic alternative to traditional carbon fiber. This is a versatile wheel for riders who ride every kind of terrain, though these are NOT the DH wheels you're looking for.

We paired the MTN30 with our Boost Centerlock hubs and their 72 points of simultaneous engagement. That makes these wheels super-efficient at transferring your power to the ground. We throw in one-piece solid axles to provide a stiff hub with rail accurate steering. So you've got a light, comfort-oriented, high-performance wheelset that will accommodate a lot of tires. It's really a tremendous value for the rider who just wants to ride bikes all day. That sounds like you.

Finally, our bearings, both steel and ceramic, have heat-treated, surgical grade steel races that are machined simultaneously to ensure perfect matching. The quality and speed of our bearings is what you will feel (and hear) on every ride. As Chris King bearing tracks burnish, they actually get faster. A little bit of regular love (i.e. service) will keep this hub rolling for years upon years of demanding use.

This wheelset comes with the legendary angry-bee sound, and you can choose from a bunch of sharp hub colors, including basic black.

WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU MEAN WHEN YOU SAY, "LIFETIME WARRANTY"?
Lifetime warranty. You hear about it, but it can mean a lot of different things, especially when you get into the fine print. So, this is how it works with our new Chris King Fusion Fiber rims. The main thing to remember is that it doesn't matter if you buy your set from your local dealer or directly from us at chrisking.com. Either way, we've got you covered.

1. Shop online while you're bored at work to find the perfect set of carbon wheels.
2. Decide that the new Chris King wheels (with a Lifetime Warranty) are the way to go!
3. Pick them up from your local Chris King Dealer or order them on chrisking.com
4. Get the wheels, ride the wheels, love the wheels.
5. Our MTN30 wheels are intended for XC, Trail, and All Mountain use. In the unlikely event they get damaged because you're just too gnarly, contact your local Chris King Dealer or email info at chrisking.com. We'll send an RA # and shipping label to send us back the wheel.
6. Once we receive it, we will rebuild your wheel with a brand-new, box fresh rim and give your hub a proper once over to make sure it is in tip-top shape (free of charge, of course).
7. We ship your wheel back to you so you can get back to having fun on your bike and ship the broken rim off to be recycled.
