“Affordable” shouldn’t be code for “lame.” Consider the Hook, a thoroughly modern, ridiculously fun, and yes, _affordable_ rig.
If you could only have one bike — just one — the Hook would be the perfect choice. For starters, it’s capable of, well, just about anything you have the nerve for. That includes quick rips on your local trails, all-day suffer fests that have you pedaling away into terra incognita, and everything in between.
We’ve equipped the Hook with the same low-slung, modern frame as its well-heeled Line and Sync’r siblings. Long in the front, short in the back, low and maneuverable — the Hook is deft and precise on tight trails yet rock steady when you are going Mach Chicken down the steepest descents.
The most impressive thing about the Hook, however, might just be its price. We kept the price tag from burning a hole in your checking account by equipping the Hook with awesome yet affordable components, including a plush 120mm fork, simple and effective single-ring drivetrain, powerful disc brakes, and quick-rolling 27.5” wheels.
- Reliable, hand-built aluminum hardtail frame w/ progressive, low-slung geometry for trail riding performance
- SR Suntour XCM 120mm travel suspension fork tackles trail obstacles
- SRAM single ring 1x8 drivetrain gives you simplicity and smooth shifting
- Durable DB SL-7 Doublewall 27.5" wheels
- Powerful Tektro Aries mechanical disc brakes
- Frame is compatible with internally routed dropper posts

Rip the trail less traveled on the Mason 1, a hard-charging 27.5+ hardtail.
The Mason 1 is a hard-charging trail bike that plows through the rough stuff, yet remains fun and flickable. Plus-size tires add insane levels of traction and control without adding the weight of a rear suspension system. This hardtail gets the job done with sturdy double-wall wheels wrapped with 27.5x3.0-inch tires. An SR Suntour XCR 34 fork provides 120mm of travel to get you through the rough stuff, while Tektro Aries mechanical disc brakes keep your speed under control. The 1x10 Shimano drivetrain makes shifting simple, meaning no pesky front derailleur to fiddle with while you monster-truck over rocks and roots. Take the trail less traveled? Sure. And with the Mason 1 you’ll be ripping the trail less traveled.
- Light and strong aluminum frame with precision-enhancing 9mm Boost dropouts and rear thru-axle
- SR Suntour XCR34 27.5"+ suspension fork, 120mm travel, coil spring, 6061 forged alloy crown, alloy tapered steerer tube, 34mm stanchions, 110x15mm thru-axle
- Shimano Deore 1x drivetrain with ultra-wide gearing takes the sting out of tough climbs
- Tektro Aries mechanical disc brakes increase your control
- You gain extra stability and grip thanks to wide rims shod with 3.0-inch plus-size tires

Reliable, affordable, and capable of nearly erasing roots and rocks.
We love hardtails, but there's no denying the benefits of full-suspension mountain bikes—the added comfort and control. Unfortunately, dualies often add another thing: more dollar signs to the price tag. That's not the case here. The Atroz utilizes sealed cartridge bearings in an understated single-pivot design to deliver smooth, durable performance. The Atroz 2 ups the ante with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, Suntour air-sprung rear suspension and an easy-to-operate single-ring drivetrain—features you usually find on bikes with a whole lot more dollar signs on their price tags.

A durable design and the latest innovations, all in a single package.
With the Atroz 3, we took the proven and refined single-pivot full-suspension design and upped the ante in a big way. It's a full RockShox affair when it comes to suspension, including the five-inch-travel Recon RL air-sprung fork with 32mm stanchions and a thru-axle. Likewise, we outfitted this model with SRAM's SX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain—all the simplicity and durability of a single-ring drivetrain, with the low gearing you once needed a front derailleur to obtain. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power, and we finished the bike off with a Race Face Chester bar and stem combo.
