Surly's Marge Lite Rim is almost the same as the Large Marge, but with a lot of material cut out. As you might imagine that reduces the weight substantially, but the engineers at Surly know what they're doing so they kept all the torsional rigidity for a strong wheel. Every wall of the rim is 25-30% thicker in comparison to those on our standard rims, which we then paired with our proven I-Beam center support to ensure no beating was too great for these rims.
