Ventana’s meticulous craftsmanship and engineering design skills were put to the test with El Conquistador de Montañas. By combining their industry renowned rear suspension technology with a super-stiff mainframe, they have produced a high performance tandem with real off-road capabilities.
In 2003, they incorporated cleaner tube junctions stiffening the front end, and relocated the rear shock to a vertical position reducing the compression ratio to 2:1, and lowering the center of gravity. They also added a one-piece BB/shock pivot CNC machined from billet. El Conquistador retains the trademark features like…quad sets of sealed bearings at all suspension pivots, replaceable 17-4 stainless steel bearing pivot axles, vertically slotted dropouts with replaceable derailleur hanger, 4” rear wheel travel, and rear tire clearance for up to 2.4” tires.
Now more than ever, El Conquistador de Montañas’ beauty, and agility in the rough, will leave captains and stokers alike, confident, awestruck, and ready to conquer any trail at hand.
