Disc brakes have arrived in road cycling. The EC90 SL takes the proven Fantom rim shape and scales it down to a shallower 38-millimeter depth. The EC90 SL Disc is available in tubular or certified Road Tubeless carbon clincher and are entirely built by hand from start to finish and acoustically tuned. The EC70 AX wheels connect EC70 carbon rims to our proven X5CL hub with 28 3x double butted Sapim straight pull spokes. End cap and axle components are available for all major industry standards. Wide, 24mm internal rims are optimized for gravel tires 35mm and larger, giving you a more confident tire stance for control on the ground during your expansive adventure rides, single track forays and unrelenting gravel races. Our Easton Overland team and SDG Muscle Monster team riders have put these wheels to the test, racing prototypes at DK200, with Amity Rockwell taking the DK Queen title and Amanda Nauman finishing 6th, while at Lost and Found 2019 Michael Van Den Ham came in 4th and Craig Richey took 6th.

The EC90 SL crank utilizes the Race Face CINCH technology, which allows for direct mount 1x rings as well as direct mount 2x spiders, and industry-leading versatility. We’ve upgraded our venerable EA90 SL wheels, dropping weight and increasing strength. Now, for the first time, Easton is making a tubeless ready wheelset. This allows for durable Sapim straight-pull spokes with standard nipples, enhancing durability and reducing the need for proprietary parts. A completely redesigned rim features a category-leading 19.5mm internal rim in a deeper and stiffer 27mm blunt shaped rim that borrows from our aerodynamic Fantom shape. Finally, these battle-tested wheels are centered on our award-winning Echo hubs. This wheelset is completely hand-built and acoustically tuned using Easton’s painstaking wheel building methods.

Easton’s new AX series line of bars meets the needs of the growing drop bar adventure and gravel segment. Building off the highly successful and critically acclaimed line of new MCD road bars and EA70 and EC70 AX bar utilizes the same top shape and reach as well as the ergonomic drop shape but turns up the drop flare from 4 degrees all the way up to 16 degrees. The wider stance in the drops provides more control on rough terrain and long gravel assaults. Why 16-degrees? We took our lightest, most comfort-advanced bar – the EC90SLX – and used our second-tier carbon fiber for a more affordable package. The newly redesigned EC70 Seatpost takes our superlight unidirectional carbon and applies our patent pending ISA technology - Independent Saddle Adjustment - which allows for completely independent fore-aft adjustment and saddle adjustment. With the 2 pitch adjustment bolts, the saddle angle gets locked into place as if you were adjusting limit screws, and unlike single bolt designs, you get adjustability and security. An impressive refinement of our popular top level Easton alloy stem, the 2019 EA90 stems have an larger boom diameter for increased stiffness and, by utilizing our highest quality alloys, we were able to remove excess material for even more weight savings. We’ve also created a custom computer mount (included with EA90 stems and sold separately) that is compatible with all ICM faceplate stems for cleaner lines and improved aerodynamics. With lengths ranging from 70mm to 130mm, we can accommodate fits for all sizes of frames and riders.
