Easton Bicycle Components!
Based in Van Nuys, California, Easton is one of the world's premier bicycle component manufacturers. From handlebars and stems, to forks and wheels, and most everything in between, you're sure to find a product you'll love in their wide range of parts and accessories. Every item that bears the Easton name has been designed by passionate engineers and tested by some of the peloton's best cyclists. The company was founded as an arrow shaft manufacturer in 1922 by Doug Easton, one of the first people to use aluminum for sports applications. Over the years, Easton built a strong reputation for excellence in other sports such as hockey and baseball and eventually entered the cycling arena in 1989 when they released the TaperLite butted-aluminum mountain bike handlebar. A year later they opened the Easton Sports Lab to ensure that every Easton product is as light, stiff, durable and technically advanced as possible. The lab has helped them stay on the cutting edge of cycling, allowing them to experiment with materials and designs that other companies shy away from.
